Thank you for considering The Auriga Magazine as a home for your writing.
We accept submissions from writers of all ages and experience,
including previously unpublished writers. In keeping with our
goal to promote diversity in the literary community, we encourage
submissions from minorities. Let this space be the welcoming
platform for your story.
Please send in works that are previously unpublished. Pieces
that have appeared anywhere online are considered published.
Unfortunately, this includes personal blogs and social media.
Please monitor this space for changes and updates.
We are not limited by genre boundaries: poetry and prose of all forms and
subject matters are welcome. That being said, we ask that you do not send
any content that is discriminatory or hateful.
For poetry, please submit 1-5 previously unpublished poems in a single
document (.doc, .docx, or .pdf) totaling no more than 10 pages. For prose,
please submit 2-3 prose pieces, each no more than 5,000 words, in a
single document (.doc, .docx, or .pdf).
Kindly attach this document in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
with the subject header Last Name, First Name, Poetry/Prose Submission.
Include a cover letter with a brief third-person biography.
We accept and encourage simultaneous submissions. Please specify
which poems are simultaneous submissions. If your poem(s) are
selected for publication elsewhere, promptly send us an email that details
which pieces are no longer available.
While we aim to respond to submissions within a week, response times will vary.
If you have yet to receive a response and more than four weeks have passed
since submission, please do not hesitate to query. We will get back to you
as soon as possible.
We kindly ask for First North American Rights. Upon publication, all rights revert
back to the contributor. If your published work appears elsewhere, we ask that
you please credit The Auriga Magazine as the original publisher.
Again, we thank you for your support of The Auriga Magazine. Happy Submitting!
